Grandma High makes each of her grandchildren a crochet afghan when they are born. (We are lucky because we get a blanket from Grandma Ellingson too!) She works on them for months before the baby is born. There is just something about these blankets. They are soft, comfy, and the children can put their fingers through them when they sleep. They are THE night-night blankie for each of the grandchildren. My sister-in-law has been wanting to get a picture of all the grandchildren with their blankets for some time now. She asked us to each bring our blankets, but with the chaos of the day, only Carter got to enjoy them!
Here's another fun couple of pics of Carter. He's a tough one to get to eat much when he comes for family dinner, but creamsicles are not to be misunderstood! He's a smart one that fella!
Good thing it was hot outside, we could just throw him in grandpa's inflatable pool when he was done! Ahh, the memories of ice cream dripping down my arms and off my elbows! Love you Carter!
