Derek took me out on a date to a beautiful place called the Pinnacles about a month ago. We brought dinner with us and ate it in the car, then went on a little hike. The scene was so beautiful! The temperatures were just so that the water was beginning to form ice around the edges of the creek and the snow held its form. It was the end of the day as I took these pictures and I thought of the amazing Ansel Adams photos that look black and white, but are really color.
