The Good Samaritan

One day this last week while I was preparing dinner, I overheard Tanner telling the story of the Good Samaritan.  I peeked around the corner to find Tanner and Lexie each hold a doll.  Tanner had taken the picture out of our Jesus Book and he was teaching the parable to their dolls! 

I thought this was super cute and grabbed my camera,  But the message really hit me a few days later when I was sitting in Welfare Meeting on Sunday morning.  The story was told again almost exactly like Tanner had told it and I was reminded of the several men who walked past the lame man on the highway.  How easy it is for me to be one of those who sees someone in need and passes them by.
