There is a wonderful group of homeschooling moms in Columbia that I love to rub shoulders with. One of those moms puts on a nature field trip of sorts each Friday. We came along to learn all about trees and plants today.
We did tree bark rubbings.
Leaf rubbings.
She had some simple, yet fun games for the kids to play. I also liked how she had them in sheet protectors. This kept them durable for kids and weather and out-of-doors.
Hide-and-go-seek-a-tree!
The best game was "Hug-a-tree"!
